Biography

Anatoly is an Assistant Professor in the Microsystems Engineering program. Anatoly received his PhD and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 2011 and 2008, where he was working on integrated photonic analog-to-digital converters. From 1999 to 2005, Anatoly was a modeling engineer at VPIsystems, a world's leading provider of simulation tools for the fiber optics industry. Anatoly BSc degree was in physics, received in 1999 from Belarus State University.

Note: the official first name of Dr. Khilo is Anatol, but he prefers to use the unofficial version "Anatoly".
Research Interests

Design and modeling of novel integrated photonic devices, such as silicon modulators, filters, and photodetectors. Implementation of electronic-photonic integrated circuits, such as data transmission links and analog-to-digital converters, using silicon photonics technology.
